GENERAL NOTES

Reservations can only be made through the website. After completing your online reservation, you will receive a confirmation summary to the email address you provided. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder, verify the accuracy of the information entered, and then contact us. A credit card is required to secure the reservation.

Changes to the number of guests
Increase or decrease in the number of guests can be made independently through the "MODIFY" link included in the email you receive upon booking, up to 48 hours before the reserved date. After the deadline, any reduction in the number of guests must be communicated within 24 hours before the reserved date. Reductions in the number of guests are not accepted on the day of the reservation and a penalty equivalent to the full menu price will be applied for each unreported no-show guest. After the 48-hour deadline, any increase in the number of guests must be requested promptly. The request will be evaluated based on the availability. If existing reservations do not allow for a significant change in the number of guests, we reserve the right to decline the request.
Changes to the reservation date
The reservation date can be changed independently up to 48 hours before the original reservation date, using the "MODIFY" link provided in the confirmation email. After the 48-hour deadline, it is no longer possible to change the reservation date. For assistance please contact info@ristorantecarignano.it.

You can cancel the reservation directly up to 48 hours before the reserved date using the "CANCEL" link in the confirmation email you received. After the 48-hour deadline, it is no longer possible to cancel or change the reservation, and the pre-authorized amount will be retained. The penalty corresponds to the full menu price for each guest, as described in the disclaimer in the confirmation email, and will be applied in the following cases:
  • No show
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the reserved date
  • Failure to notify us of changes in the number of guests less than 48 hours before the reserved date
Penalty cancellation for gift voucher holders: In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before the reserved date, the gift voucher will be considered void and no longer usable. For assistance write to info@ristorantecarignano.it.

Please promptly notify us of any delays by contacting the number: +39 011 5188684 or by sending a text (WhatsApp, Telegram, or SMS) to: +39 331 8918882 If no notification is received, for delays exceeding 90 minutes or after 10:15 PM, management reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply the penalty.

The service is available from 7:30 PM to 10:15 PM. The start of the evening is flexible, depending on the guests' chosen reservation time. Upon arrival at the Grand Hotel Sitea, guests will be welcomed by our staff and escorted to the Carignano Restaurant, which has been transformed into a sandy beach. On the beach, guests will enjoy an aperitif, followed by dinner and, afterwards, an after-dinner experience. Before accessing the beach, guests will be asked to leave their shoes outside and wear disposable beach shoes; alternatively, they may choose to wear their own clean flip-flops or other clean footwear. In any case, dirty or wet shoes are not permitted on the beach.

Carignano offers a single tasting menu and does not have an à la carte selection. The tasting menu can be modified to accommodate any dietary requests notified of (see section), at no additional cost, and it is not applicable for the entire table. The cost of the tasting menu is € 260,00 p.p. and includes not only the dishes from the menu but also the aperitif and the after-dinner. The pairing with wines, spirits, and waters has a cost of € 140,00 p.p. and is not included in the cost of the menu, nor are any wines or drinks selected from our list, which will be charged separately.

The menu consists of dishes based on fish, crustaceans, and molluscs.

Due to the particular nature of the preparations and the delicacy of the ingredients used, we are unable to offer menu variations for dietary preferences or allergies to the aforementioned ingredients.

Any other allergies must be strictly communicated no later than 48 hours prior to the reservation date.

The list of allergens is available upon request from the dining room staff.

All areas and access points of the restaurant and our hotel are designed to accommodate guests with disabilities and special needs.

However, due to the special setup of the dining room, in order to facilitate access for guests using walkers or wheelchairs, we kindly ask that the need for barrier-free access be indicated at the time of reservation.

Children of all ages are our valued guests However, we kindly ask parents to consider the suitability of attending with their children a dinner that typically lasts about two and a half hours. We do not offer a specific children's menu, but for children under 14 attending the dinner, it is possible to request a selection of dishes from the tasting menu or choose dishes from the menu of our bistro. It is mandatory to inform us of the presence of children at the time of booking to help us create an enjoyable evening for all guests, including our younger ones.

The restaurant dining room has been transformed into a beach.

Access to the beach is permitted only with clean footwear.

Before entering, guests are therefore asked to change their shoes by using the disposable slippers provided or, if preferred, by wearing their own clean slippers or footwear.

Under no circumstances is entry allowed with unsuitable or wet footwear.

The recommended dress code is Smart Casual.

Due to the special setup of the dining room, we are unable to allow animals of any breed or size to enter, without exception.

If the reservation is for a special occasion and you would like to personalize the evening with special requests (flowers, cakes, decorations, or other needs), we would be happy to accommodate them. Requests must be made at the time of booking or no later than 48 hours prior to the reserved date. Before confirming feasibility, we reserve the right to verify timing and the nature of the request. Companies requiring event personalization with their logo or other material can submit their requests via email no later than ten days before the reservation date.

Please request an invoice at the time of booking by providing the necessary billing information, or deliver it to our staff upon arrival, before dinner.

Carignano Restaurant is open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.

For extraordinary openings (lunch or on regular restaurant closure days — Sunday and Monday), please send an email to info@ristorantecarignano.it.

For extraordinary openings, if the number of diners is fewer than 20 participants, or unless otherwise agreed upon on a case-by-case basis, an additional fee will be added to the standard cost of the menu.

For gift card holders, it is mandatory to indicate the voucher number in the reservation notes.

Since Carignano is part of a corporate group offering various services, vouchers are accepted subject to verification of their validity for Carignano.

If the voucher you hold is for a service related to other offerings within the group, the use of the voucher at Carignano is at the discretion of the management of Seat SpA.

Once the validity is confirmed, the gift card must be presented to the restaurant staff upon arrival.

The Grand Hotel Sitea is located in the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) Central area.

From 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM on weekdays (excluding Saturdays), circulation and parking are prohibited within this area.

Guests of the Grand Hotel Sitea and Royal Luxury Palace can access the area even during the restricted hours by immediately providing their car details to the reception staff upon arrival.

For guests not staying at one of our properties (Grand Hotel Sitea or Royal Palace) and not benefiting from one of our agreements, parking is available with two options:

  • Parking service at the hotel
    Cost: €20.00 for the duration of the dinner only, subject to availability.
    The parking request must be indicated in the notes at the time of booking, and availability will be confirmed by email.
  • Self service
    You can ask for the special rate at the Garage Giolitti.

Porsche Destination Charging

The hotel is part of the Porsche Destination Charging network and is equipped with Porsche charging stations for electric vehicles.

The cost of charging is €45.00.

For Porsche customers using our services, parking and charging are free of charge.

Carignano is the restaurant inside the Grand Hotel Sitea.

● Cigarettes, cigars, pipes, heated tobacco, and other smoking products

Smoking is prohibited in all public areas of the hotel and in guest rooms.

Smoking is permitted in the internal garden, using the designated ashtrays, and in the bistrot dehors, unless minors or pregnant women are present, and with the explicit consent of the others.

For those who do not comply with the no-smoking policy in the room, in addition to the applicable administrative fine, an extra charge for extraordinary cleaning will be applied.

● Electronic Cigarettes and related products

Smoking of any type of electronic cigarette is prohibited in the restaurant rooms, bistro, bar, wellness room, fitness room, and on the veranda during breakfast service.

Electronic cigarettes may be smoked in the lobby and public areas, unless minors or pregnant women are present, and with respect for others.

Our smoking policy complies with the Article 51 of Law No. 3 of 16/01/03 and the DCPM 23/12/03.

Violators of the smoking ban will face administrative fines as prescribed by the Italian law.

Please note that starting from 2024, the city of Turin has introduced in the Urban Police Regulation 221 (art. 7, 1.v) the “smoking ban in the presence of children or pregnant women and in all outdoor areas within a five-meter distance from others without their explicit consent”; the smoking ban applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, heated tobacco, any combustion products, and electronic cigarettes.

Violations of the Regulation are subject to the administrative fines established by law.

We allow the recording or photographing of anything related to your own table, dishes, and bottles.

However, recording is not permitted without explicit consent in the following cases:

  • Staff members
  • Other customers in the restaurant
  • Other restaurant areas
  • The kitchen
JOURNALISTIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND OTHER PURPOSES

If you need to take photos or videos, please notify the communication manager at press@grandhotelsitea.it or the restaurant manager at the time of booking.

Recording and photography are allowed for public safety, journalistic, and general informational purposes, in accordance with GDPR Article 85, paragraph 1. In these cases, while consent for recording and dissemination is not required, the information and its use must not be defamatory.

Photos and recordings are also allowed during public events or ceremonies held in public, without explicit consent from individuals being filmed, as long as they are not the main subject of the photo (as per Article 97 of Law 633/1941).
